When I realized that making ceramic art was what I wanted to do for the rest of my life, I began setting goals for the trajectory of my career path. Most of which seemed very out of reach as an intermediate ceramics student. One of those goals was to be a resident artist at Red Lodge Clay Center.
Back in May 2015, I decided to apply for a short-term residency. I was blown away when I received the email, that I had been accepted! I spent three weeks, over Christmas Break, in the beautiful town of Red Lodge, MO. RLCC exceeded everything I had imagined it to be. It was one of the nicest studios I've worked in; tidy, organized, with a warm energy! The residents, staff and community made the experience even better. Needless to say, I love Red Lodge Clay Center, and would suggest to anyone interested- DO IT! The short-term residency was a great program, which gave me an idea of what the long-term residency was like. Here are a few images from my time at Red Lodge!
