What happens when you encounter a sexy object? One will start to envision what life would be like driving that car, what outfit you’d wear with those heels, what beverage you’d drink from that cup, and so on. There is a desire to have the object in your life, you want to touch or caress the object and in some cases one may even have the urge to put it in their mouth. It seems very similar to what happens when one is physically attracted to another human being. The parallel between the objects I make and human sexuality is inspiring. After all, who doesn't appreciate something sexy?

I strive for voluptuous curves with refined tight surface quality, similar to the automobiles I look to for inspiration. To achieve the ambiguous anatomical forms, I cast plaster into condoms. The condom allows me to conduct its volume and gesture into a "sexy" position before the plaster sets. I choose to leave the reservoir tip as suggestive evidence of its origin. The high gloss surface is intended to seduce the viewer with the desire to touch while also suggesting it's existence as a precious object.
